While many people have commented on how real life couples have been rather ’thanda’ on screen together and many have cited Saif and Kareena in ’Tashan’ as an example, we disagree completely.
Considering that they weren’t really paired opposite each other, we can’t really say that they don’t work together as an on screen pair. If we remember the film correctly, Kareena was paired opposite Akki Kumar and so the only time before that that Saif and Kareena have been paired together is JP Dutta’s ’LOC’.
And we strongly feel that even though the film was something to be forgotten, the Saif Kareena jodi was quite cute even then, when they were years away from dating each other. On the contrary, we feel Saif and Kareen have smouldering, screen scorching chemistry in ’Kurbaan’.
In fact of all the real life jodis, Saif and Kareena look the hottest together on screen and if the promos of ’Kurbaan’ are anything to go by, they may very quickly go from being the perfect off screen jodi to being the most sought after on screen jodi as well.
