Almost everyone has been chanting Jai Ho for Rahman after the music maestro managed to bag 2 Grammy awards this year for his music in Slumdog Millionaire. Rahman also bagged two Oscars last year for his work in Danny Boyle’s highly acclaimed film.
Though the world is going gaga over Rahman’s music many feel Rahman has composed and has the ability to compose much better compositions than Slumdog Millionaire.
Renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is one of them. Shekhar expressed his honest opinion on Twitter by stating, “I am so proud of Rahman, but Slumdog is not his best music, he has and will do far far better. Wait for his score in Paani.”
He however also congratulated Rahman as soon as the Grammy news broke early in the morning by saying, “AR Rahman goes beyond Slumdog and takes over Hollywood! Two grammies. I will send the best tweet to him personally.”
