Neha Dhupia is keeping her nose to the grindstone to slip into the skin of her character for director Subhash Kapoor’s film ‘With Love, To Obama’. For her role, Neha is studying UP chief minister Mayawati’s mannerisms.
So, is her character in the flick inspired by Mayawati? Well, to a certain extent, yes, her character Munni is learned to have a distinct accent and a way of speaking which is like that of Mayawati.
Neha confirms to a daily about her first non-glamorous role, and says, “Yes I did study how Mayawati speaks, her style and accent to deliver my dialogues. But my look isn’t based on Mayawati!”
She further adds, “She is, by far, the most experimental character I have played. She is brave, strong, earthy and a very strong woman in a big, bad world full of men.”
