For all you Bollywood buffs, here’s another bollywood writer who is set to make her directorial debut this year.
You have heard about scriptwriters turning director, but this story has a fresh twist to it.
Shagufta Rafique, the scriptwriter who is associated with Mahesh Bhatt’s banner Vishesh Films is all set to make her directorial debut. According to close sources, the scriptwriter will shoot her first film soon and the film will be shot entirely in Pakistan.
Though nothing much is known about the cast of the film, but sources say that this time the Bhatt’s might look beyond casting their inhouse hero Emraan Hashmi.
Mahesh Bhatt confirmed the news and added, "You have heard it right. This time our film will be directed by Shagufta Rafique. She will be shooting the film in Pakistan. At the moment she is busy doing the recce of the locations."
The film assumes significance for its filming location which will be Pakistan. By all measures a bold decision from the Bhatt camp.
