AR Rahman and Aamir Khan have bagged the Padma Bhushan award

The headlines are abuzz with this hot update… Music maestro AR Rahman and Bollywood star Aamir Khan have bagged the Padma Bhushan award.

While Rahman is well-acclaimed for winning prestigious awards for Slumdog Millionaire and has been nominated for ‘Couples Retreat’, Aamir made successful waves with films like ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Besides, veteran Bollywood actress Rekha and actor Saif Ali Khan are honoured with the Padma Shri.

The achievers will be felicitated with the award on January 26, the 60th Republic Day.
