Priyanka Chopra will have seven husbands in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Saath Khoon Maaf’ and she will also have seven distinct looks for each one. Challenging, isn’t it?

Neither is it easy for the person on whom lies the onus of giving the actress seven different looks. Renowned Oscar award winner make-up artist Greg Cannom of The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button has been roped in to give Priyanka seven looks for ‘Saath Khoon Maaf’.

Currently the actress who is in the US shooting for Anjaana Anjaani is doing double shifts. As soon as Priyanka is done with shooting, she sits with Greg to work on the seven characters and their looks.

As sources tells a tabloid, “Vishal, being a stickler for perfection, didn’t want any ordinary changes in Priyanka’s make-up, but a drastic one and he was convinced Greg was the only man who could deliver. Vishal flew to Los Angeles and convinced him to take up the film. It’s all quite hush-hush.”

Must say no other actress has experimented so much with her looks as Priyanka has lately been. She played 12 characters, each with a different look, in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Raashee? Now, seven for Bharadwaj’s film.

Is she eyeing some kind of record?

The search for Priyanka’s seven husbands is still on. So far, filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj has been able to lock four men for his heroine which include John Abraham, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Mohanlal. The search for the other three is proving to be a tough task.

It must be recalled that Priyanka will be seen with seven men in the upcoming film EK BATTA SAAT that is based on a book written by renowned author Ruskin Bond. The film which is the remake of the short story SUSSANA’S SEVEN HUSBANDS will have seven heroes paired opposite Priyanka Chopra.

Buzz is that actor Irrfan Khan might also be roped to play Priyanka’s fifth husband in the film. Though nothing has been officially declared on this front so far.

Life has come a full circle for former Miss World Priyanka Chopra

On December 12, nine years after she picked up her own crown, PC will be on the beauty pageant podium in Johannesburg as a judge for the final round of this year’s Miss World contest. “When Julia Morley, who is in charge of the beauty pageant, invited me to be a judge, I was ecstatic. There I was a teenager all those years ago, nervous as a help on the same platform. Now I’m going in a totally different capacity,” said Priyanka . The actress is happy she could work her busy shooting schedules around to accommodate this contest, which she considers a very prestigious one.

Back home, too, Priyanka is in a very happy place. Kareena Kapoor , Katrina Kaif and she are the top three Bollywood beauties who wield a certain power over the box office. Naturally, the best projects are divided between them. “This was a good year,” said the actress, “and hopefully 2010 will be as good if not better.”

She happily starts the year with Pyaar Impossible in January while also shooting with hotshot Ranbir Kapoor for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Anjaana Anjaani and with Bollywood supremo Shah Rukh Khan for Farhan Akhtar’s Don-2. “Besides these films, I’m scheduled to do a film with my Kaminey director Vishal Bharadwaj,” said the dusky beauty.

The low point of 2009 was when she cried herself to sleep after Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Rashee came unstuck at the box office. “When you put blood, sweat and tears into a project and it doesn’t fetch you the kind of box office you hoped for, it hurts,” Priyanka admitted. But she did not rise to the bait when asked what she feels about co-star and ‘ex’ Harman Baweja making his feelings public for her long after they had split. Guess when things are looking up for her the way they are right now, she has every reason to be gracious.

Priyanka Chopra won the best actress award at Apsara Film Awards

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra bagged the best actress award for Madhur Bhandarkar’s "Fashion" at the Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards here Friday evening.

Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra received the award on her behalf.

"Oh, I am so happy for her. She has done it again. And getting an award from the patriarch and creators of the film industry is a great thing," Ashok Chopra told IANS.

Hrithik Roshan was presented the best actor award for Ashutosh Gowariker’s "Jodhaa Akbar".

The fourth edition of the Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards, which honour excellence in cinema and television was held at a five-star hotel here.

Aamir Khan won two awards - best film and best director - for his directorial debut "Taare Zameen Par".

Actor Imran Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, director Yash Chopra, screenwriter Amole Gupte and Prasoon Joshi attended the event. Oscar-award wining actor Sir Ben Kingsley was also present.

The fourth edition was postponed last year as a mark of respect to the victims of the 26/11 tragedy. The awards for 2009 will be distributed by the Producers’ Guild of India Dec 20.

The Guild jury, including Ravi Chopra, Ketan Desai, and Vashu Bhagnani, had chosen the winners.

Piggie Chops with RJ Jeeturaj on Mumbais favourite show Hi Mumbai

The fans got to have a interactive session with the stars as the two shared anecdotes about the making of their latest movie with RJ Jeeturaj on Mumbai’s favourite show ‘Hi Mumbai’ . They talked about their faith in astrology, their traits and star signs and everything about their rashee. They also praised the music of the film that has been given by composer Sohail Sen.

Talking about the film, Priyanka said, “It’s a comedy, all in all, a really funny story of an NRI Gujrati boy who comes to India and must find a bride in 10 days, and how his matrimonial ad receives responses from an astounding 160 girls!”

Not to mention here again that Piggie Chops plays twelve different characters in the film and when Harman was asked about whether or not the NRI’s character Yogesh Patel does marry eventually, the witty star replied, “Yes he does marry and I will even tell you who he marries…. he marries Priyanka’s character!”The movie will hit the screens on September 25th, 2009.
