Charming actress Anjana Sukhani is relishing the food of Subway restaurant these days. The reason for living on restaurant food is because her mommy is not at home these days to cook up homemade delicacies for the missy.

Apparently, Anjana’s mommy is out of town and has left her little princess in the care of a cook to make sure Anjana is fed well, but the “Jashn’ actress has rebelled against the cook as she does not like her cooking.

And as Anjana is no chef so she has decided to save her life with take-outs and seems like she is bowled over by Subway food. And Anjana has been gorging on Subway sandwiches not for a day or two but for 11 days straight. The delivery guy has been visiting her apartment twice a day!

With this speed Anjana will surely have to hit the gym and do some yoga and kick-boxing to get rid of those sinful calories!

You Tube is running a contest for Actress Sophie Choudry

Actress Anushka Sharma together with newcomer Ranveer Singh

Yash Raj Films is launching newcomer Ranveer Singh opposite `Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi` actress Anushka Sharma in their next project.

The film will be directed by Maneesh Sharma, who worked as an assistant director on Shah Rukh Khan starrer `Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi`. The untitled venture will be produced by Aditya Chopra.

The shooting has started and it is scheduled for a release later this year.

The story revolves around Shruti (Anushka Sharma) and Bittoo (Ranveer Singh) who start a business after passing out from Delhi University. Their friendship and business enters lavish world of Delhi`s baaraats and weddings.

Maneesh had also assisted on other Yash Raj projects like `Fanaa` and `Aaja Nachle`.

Actress Shweta Baradwaj is doing a French movie in 60 different looks

Upcoming Bollywood actress Shweta Baradwaj , who was first and last seen in Hindi movie, `Mission Istanbul`, is doing a French movie in which she sports 60 different looks.

"I play a translator in the French movie . Her work takes her world-wide and therefore she is seen sporting country-specific looks and costumes," Shweta said. "Till now we have shot for five days. The movie too is being shot in various countries as the character I play speaks almost all languages under the sun," she said.

However, Shweta said other details regarding the French production could not be shared because of "contractual
obligations."

The actress said donning 60 different looks was like shooting for a portfolio. "I felt as if I am shooting some international
portfolio and that too at someone else cost," she quipped. The second schedule of the movie would begin later this year, she said.

Besides, Shweta would be seen in soon-to-be released Hindi movie `Loot`.

Rocket Singh girl Shazahn Padamsee is debuting in Tollywood

Rocket Singh girl Shazahn Padamsee is debuting in Tollywood. The lucky daughter of ad-guru Alyque Padamsee and pop star Sharon Prabhakar, has a wonderful offer in her kitty. The offer is from Anjana Productions and she is set to be cased with Ram Charan Tej.

The forthcoming film of Charan and producer Naga Babu , directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, has been on floors for over a month now. Though the first heroine Genelia D’Souza has been finalised, the makers have been on a constant search for the second girl.

They seem to have finally zeroed down on Shazah, after watching her performance in her Bollywood debut, Rocket Singh. The passionate girl is dumb lucky because even in Telugu, she getitng to debut with a big release, just as in Hindi, where she was finalised by the Yash Raj.

Shazahn has imbibed qualities from her pop star mother Sharon and Alyque, who is bonded with the theatre. If her role in the Telugu debut becomes all-famous, there is nothing stopping her. From her humble beginnings as a copywriter, Shazahn is now a female lead in a multi-crore Telugu film.

I adjusted very well inside the Bigg Boss house-Claudia Ciesla

She may be German, but supermodel-turned-actress Claudia Ciesla can roll out a roti and cook up a dal in a jiffy, thanks to her stint in Indian reality show "Bigg Boss 3" where she was a ’housemate’.

"I adjusted very well inside the ’Bigg Boss’ house. I didn’t know how to cook at all, but during my stay I learnt how to cook dal and roti and a few other things. I can cook well now, " Claudia, who was evicted from the "Bigg Boss" house Friday, told in an interview.

Claudia also had a hard time as far as language was concerned - the actress was not allowed to speak in English inside the house after the first month.

"Learning Hindi was a task. But I somehow managed. That was one thing that was most difficult for me. I can now understand the language much better, " she added.

Claudia, who entered the house with 12 more celebrities, including Poonam Dhillon, Kamaal R. Khan, Ismail Darbar, Sherlyn Chopra, Vindu Dara Singh and Raju Srivastav, was evicted through public voting.

All remaining members of the house were nominated for eviction this week.

When asked whether she expected her eviction, the 22-year-old said: "I thought that Aditi (Govitrikar) or Poonam (Dhillon) will be the one to leave the house this time. I was hoping that it’s not me because I wanted to stay...but it’s okay."

"I have no regrets. I’m happy that I’m out after so many days and I had a wonderful time even inside the house, " she said.

Even though Claudia, who featured in M.R. Shahjahan’s "Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation", had cordial relations with every housemate, her friendship with wild card entry, model Pravesh Rana, raised eyebrows.

The actress however maintains they just shared a friendship and nothing beyond that.

"Pravesh and I are only friends and nothing else. We clicked because we are of the same age, same profession, so we had a lot to talk about. That was the only reason why we spent more time together, " clarified Claudia.

But Claudia does feel that Pravesh will win.

"I feel Pravesh or Vindu will ultimately win. Both are playing with a very good strategy and I feel both have a strong chance of winning the show, " she said.

"No one is bad or playing dirty (in the house). A few people made mistakes, but that was all because of the circumstances. It is an emotional and a mental game, so people tend to react in ways they normally wouldn’t."

Now the actress is planning to buy a house in Mumbai and create a place for herself in the Hindi film industry.

It's very happy birthday to Konkona Sen Sharma

It’s very happy birthday to Konkona Sen Sharma (December 3, 1979), who turns 30 today. This has been a specially good year for the young actress, who has had two good releases this year, the first being Zoya Akhtar’s ’Luck By Chance’ and Ayan Mukherjee’s ’Wake Up Sid’. The daughter of talented Bengali film actress and director Aparna Sen and journalist Mukul Sharma, Konkona began her foray into films very early. Her first film was ’Indira’ as child artiste.

As she became an adult, she made her debut in Bengali films. But it was her mother’s ’Mr and Mrs Iyer’, opposite a seasoned Rahul Bose, that Konkona grabbed the attention of cinegoers, critics and directors alike. She even won the President’s Award for Best Actress that year for the movie. Madhur Bhandarkar’s ’Page 3’ further cemented her image and presence in Bollywood. She seemed to have arrived at just the right time, when directors were willing to look beyond the typical, clichéd, mainstream formula films.

Vishal Bharadwaj’s ’Omkara’ and Anurag Basu’s ’Life In A… Metro’ followed suit. It says something for her acting prowess or good fortune, or both, that she found herself a part of the Yash Raj camp and acted in two films for them, ’Laaga Chunri Mein Daag’ and ’Aaja Nachle’. She was the supporting actress in both these projects, but despite the presence of stalwarts like Rani Mukherjee and Madhuri Dixit, Konkona managed to stand out with her bravura performance. She followed it up with ’Luck By Chance’ and ’Wake Up Sid’.

Currently, the actress is believed to be shooting with Ajay Devgn for a comedy, ’Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge.’ Despite coming from a very arthouse film background, she has managed to make herself quite at home in mainstream cinema, and there are certain roles in which one can envision no one else but her. Her line of co stars includes the likes of Rahul Bose, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Ranbir Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Kunal Kapoor.

Besides her Hindi films, the actress has managed to keep her connection with Bengali films alive and has given some noteworthy performances in films like ’Dosar’ and ’Ek Je Aacche Kanya’. Her mother has given her some of the best roles in the beginning of her career in ’Mr and Mrs Iyer’ and ’15 Park Avenue’. It says a lot for Hindi cinema that an actress like Konkona has managed to break the mould and still managed to find a place in all the prominent camps of the industry like Yash Raj and Dharma Productions. The good thing is that she is allowed to be herself, an actress of great sensitivity and not expected to do anything more than act. We would like to wish her a very happy birthday and a great year ahead.

Shenaz Treasurywala rejected quite a requiring her to wear bikinis

Sweet , bubbly yet sexy VJ-turned-actress Shenaz Treasurywala , who plays a simple, sweet girl in forthcoming flick Radio, says she has rejected quite a few roles requiring her to wear bikinis and do item numbers.

“I did reject quite a few offers that required me to wear a bikini and do item numbers. That is not where I want to go with my career. Also, there are lots of bikini and item girls out there. They are fabulous at what they do; I don’t judge them at all. But then I don’t want to join them or compete with them,” Shenaz told.



“I’ll do what the role requires me to do. I am professional. As long as it’s required and the film really needs it. It should not be there just to sell tickets but to tell a story. I am talented, I have a personality and this is my strength,” the actress said, while maintaining that she isn’t saying an outright no to donning a particular costume. Even though she has acted only in a handful of films like Ishq Vishk, Hum Tum and Aagey Se Right, she feels that being an item girl is not really her goal.


“You get into exposing if all you have is a sexy body ; or may be if you are a magnificent dancer and being an item girl is your career goal. It’s just not my thing or my talent,” she said.“I am a good actor and I am a brilliant host. I write well too. I want to concentrate on these three interests and talents,” she added. While Shenaz isn’t keen on wearing skimpy clothes on screen, she isn’t someone who shies away from wearing a bikini in real life.


In fact, Shenaz prides herself in being the proud owner of a closet full of bikinis. “I swim every day and swimming is my salvation. Nothing in the world makes me feel more relaxed. I am a complete water baby and wear a bikini in the pool every day. In fact I have a whole collection of bikinis. So, I’m not prudish or anything,” the actress said.This is the reason why she believes in the saying ‘never say never’. “If the film takes place on a beach or a boat, if it makes sense story-wise and it’s just not to entice the opposite sex or show off my body, then I’m cool. But it’s not my focus or choice to market myself like that,” she reasoned. Releasing next month, Radio also stars Himesh Reshammiya and Sonal Sehgal.
