Biography
Diane Kruger was born in Hildesheim, Germany, and began his career as a dancer in London when he was still young, but after an injury that he changed the account and went to Paris to become a model. She won the 1992 Elite "Look of the Year" at the age of 15. Kruger soon became interested in acting and took classes at the Cours Florent. She landed a few minor appearances in several French films. It then changed its name for use with English-speaking audiences, to facilitate their path to a career in Hollywood.







Kruger made his screen debut in 2002 opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player, a TV-movie by Jean-Pierre Roux. She played Julie Wood in 2003 and Lisa Michel Vaillant in Wicker Park (2004), along with Josh Hartnett and Rose Byrne. His most important role to date is his image of Helen in Wolfgang Petersen epic Troy. In 2004, crashes with Nicholas Cage and Sean Bean (who co-star with her in Troy) in the popular movie National Treasure, from appearing in films such as Merry Christmas (2005) and Copying Beethoven (2006). She will return to National Treasure 2, playing the role of Abigail Chase. The film will be released in 2007 or 2008. Kruger married French actor Guillaume Canet on September 1, 2001. They have since filed a suit for divorce. She is currently dates Canadian actor Joshua Jackson, but she still lives in Paris.
